What To Expect At Your Visit

Updated April 2025

We’ve made some changes to allow for a smoother visit for you and your pet.

For your convenience, we are now scheduling appointments. For pets that need to be seen more urgently, we are also scheduling same day appointments.

Please call our clinic at 714-537-5390 to schedule your appointment.

Appointment Policy:

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time and check in with one of our client service representatives.
  • We strive to stay on time with our appointments, but delays are sometimes possible. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which may result in occasional appointment delays. If we are running behind and you have time constraints, please inquire with a client service representative about rescheduling your appointment or doing a "drop off" appointment.
  • Surgical procedures (spay, neuter, dental, etc.) are scheduled after a doctor examines your pet and performs any necessary diagnostic tests.

Cancellation and Late Policy:

  • We understand that unexpected events may occur that result in you needing to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Our cancellation policy ensures that we can accommodate and provide the best care to all of our patients.
  • Notify our client service team at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel your doctor and treatment appointments. Notify our client service team at least 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel your procedure appointment.
  • Arriving more than 10 minutes late may require you to reschedule. If you are running late, please call our clinic and alert a client service representative. Our doctors will do our best to accommodate you, but please understand that we may need to reschedule your appointment.

Prescription Medication & Food Policy:

  • In accordance with state law, veterinarians cannot dispense or prescribe medications without prior examination of your pet and current knowledge of their health. Current knowledge is considered to be within one year's time.
  • Please allow 24 hours notice for medication and prescription diet refills. You may leave a message on the night recording or call during office hours. We will call you when your medication is ready. When you arrive, come inside and check-in with our client service representatives. We will assist you as quickly as possible!

Payment Policy:

  • We require full payment at the time that services are rendered.
  • We do not accept checks.
  • A deposit is required prior to any procedure, extensive medical workup or drop off appointment. Generally, the low end of the estimate is taken as a deposit.
