Honoring Our Working K9 Heroes

Community Veterinary Hospital has proudly supported the working K9s who serve Southern California communities for nearly 30 years. These dedicated dogs protect, detect, and serve alongside law enforcement officers, and we’re honored to provide them with the same level of exceptional medical care we give to every family pet.

Our team, led by our co-owner and veterinarian with a special interest in orthopedics and sports medicine, performs:

  • Pre-purchase and physical exams

  • X-rays and orthopedic evaluations

  • Bloodwork and annual health assessments

  • Ongoing medical follow-ups and preventive care

Through our partnerships with multiple agencies across the region, we’ve built strong relationships with K9 handlers and departments who rely on our team to keep their partners in peak condition. These remarkable dogs are true heroes, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to care for them throughout their service.

Supporting Local Shelters and Rescues

Our animal hospital has long-standing partnerships with animal shelters and rescue groups across Orange County, providing medical care, wellness exams, and diagnostics to animals in need. By working closely with these organizations, including Garden Grove Animal Control, we help give second chances to pets who might otherwise go without the medical attention they deserve.

Our team is passionate about promoting affordable, high-quality veterinary care for shelter and rescue animals. From preventive treatments and vaccinations to surgeries and diagnostics, we’re honored to help these pets recover, heal, and find their forever homes.
