Thomas Kim, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Thomas Kim was born in Los Angeles and moved to Korea as a young child before returning to California at age 18. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from UC San Diego, where he developed a strong interest in veterinary medicine while working as a veterinary technician.
Dr. Kim graduated from Western University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and joined Community Veterinary Hospital shortly thereafter. Known for his kind, approachable manner and exceptional medical skill, Dr. Kim has become a valued member of the CVH family.
His professional interests include general surgery and medicine, and he finds great joy in helping pets live healthier, happier lives through education and compassionate care. Dr. Kim is fluent in English and Korean and enjoys connecting with clients from diverse backgrounds.
When he’s not at the hospital, Dr. Kim enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, playing soccer, and hitting the golf course.
